Because supervisors and mentors are the ones who evaluate and validate experience, their feedback is crucial. Members-in-training should make sure their supervisors/mentors are aware that the Experience Review Committee expects them to provide comments that back up their claims of experience.
Suppose the supervisor or mentor has stated that any of the areas in Part 5 – Communication and Work Skills requires improvement (NI) without providing an explanation. In that case, the supervisor or mentor will be contacted for more information. Any extra material from supervisors and mentors that complements the information included in the report is also appreciated and will greatly assist the Experience Review Committee in making a judgment.
In order to take in comments, the form is constructed to provide supervisors and mentors as much room as they need. The supervisor (and mentor, if applicable) should get the work experience reporting form electronically so that they can add their comments directly to the document. Once the final draft is produced, the initials/signature are inserted where needed.
