VETASSESS Employability Assessments For Migrants
If having received a positive skills assessment from VETASSESS, then
it may help you get work in your occupation. It will allow you to have
an Employability Assessment and access to subsidized training.
The Employability Assessment program is for those who are already
living in Australia. However, they are not working at their skill level
despite having had a skills assessment in a priority occupation.
You can have this service if you have attained a positive
VETASSESS skill assessment from 1 January 2019. This assessment should be in one of the following occupations:
- Agricultural Consultant
- Agricultural Scientist
- Civil Engineering Technician

- Gymnastics Coach or Instructor
- Internal Auditor
- Marketing Specialist

- Shearer
- Swimming Coach or Instructor
- Urban and Regional Planner

There are two parts to this offer we have listed below:
A free employability assessment to help you identify if some extra
training might help you attain employment in your occupation. It might,
for example, be some literacy or digital skills training.
A referral to a training organization that can assist you in gaining
additional skills. The government of Australia will pay most of the
cost.
Check your eligibility:

and you have held it for at least 12 months.

3 Common mistakes that lead to a negative VETASSESS skills assessment:
- No original language or English language translations:
If your documents are not in English, submit copies of the originals
and an English translation. This translation must be from a registered
translation service provider. If your documents are in the original
language without a translation, your application will face rejection.
- Improper verification documents:
There are some additional verification requirements for
qualifications acquired from specific countries of the world. These
countries are Pakistan, Iran, China and Nigeria. Therefore, you must
ensure that you have a clear understanding of the requirements for the
documents from your country.
- Not taking professional help:
You should leave no room for your ego. Besides that, saving some money can lead to a negative assessment. So, you should hire a
VETASSESS
expert to let you complete all documents and submit them
systematically. In addition, having an expert will always make you feel
accompanied and assured.
