This document is directed towards providing a brief introduction of APEGBC’s Competency-Based Assessment system.

The APEGBC’s Competency Assessment System intends to uphold the reputation, values, responsibility and professionalism of P.Eng. The competency framework and the online system were developed with an intention to uphold the public interest while maintaining a proper registration process with transparency, consistency and efficiency. The Competency Framework includes and states all the requirements and guidance for the applicants, reviewers and referees regarding the registration process.
